Cruelty to Animal Act 1835

The demise of the bull baiting bulldog was founded by the "Cruelty to Animal Act" put in force in 1835.  Bulldog breeders than found themselves with dogs with no purpose.  The breed became almost extinct.  Breeders regrouped and found that imported Chinese toy dogs were popular.  This ferocious with aggression and extraordinary courage was evolved into many breeds, including the pet quality as the English Bulldog.  A huge autonomy shrank into the smaller body known today.  Adding reason why this line of bulldogs is so sickly.
